Styling is a passion I hold close to my heart — the ability to shape an image and create a persona through clothing, accessories, and complementary grooming is a wonderful process to experience, both for the stylist and the client.
Clothes are part of our daily lives, yet they can be a powerful tool for self-expression and transformation. Helping my clients discover a part of themselves they didn't know existed is what I love most.
I grew up around westernised African fashion, where style was an important form of self-expression. Later, while studying beauty and style in Finland, my world of fashion expanded as I discovered different style archetypes and aesthetics.
Curating styles for each individual; their colours, flattering silhouettes, suitable textures, and the right pairings became a passion, and that passion eventually led to the creation of Gwendolyn Style Atelier.
My goal is to help each client bring out the version of themselves they want to present to the world through clothing, accessories, and expert styling. Every outfit I create and every wardrobe I build or refresh is tailored to the individual, their personality, their lifestyle, and their goals.
